The Hamas Chief Ismail Haniyeh has phoned the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Nickolay Mladenov to follow up the international endeavours aimed at alleviating the Israeli siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.
The Hamas top official and Malenkov discussed the ways of pushing the Israeli occupation to abide by the ceasefire understandings that have been already agreed upon.
He communicated the state of anger among the Palestinian people to the UN Coordinator that has erupted due to the Israeli attempts to evade the understandings.
The UN Special Coordinator stressed that he was exerting efforts to implement many projects in the impoverished enclave that would ease the Gaza blockade.
Haniyeh thanked Mladenov for his endeavours urging him to exert more efforts in this regard in coordination with regional and international parties, above all Egypt.
