Israeli Occupation detains 25 Palestinians, including Hamas MP, in West Bank

Israeli Occupation forces detained on Wednesday dawn 25 Palestinians, including a Jerusalemite MP and ex-detainees in a large-scale raid and arrest campaign across the occupied West Bank. 

According to the office of Hamas’ Change and Reform Bloc, Israeli Occupation forces rearrested member of the Legislative Council Mohammed Abu Tair, 66, who has been banished from Jerusalem to the occupied West Bank, in a pre-dawn raid on his house south of the West Bank town of al-Bira. 

In a press release, the parliamentary bloc’s office noted that the Jerusalemite MP had spent up to 18 years in Israeli jails.  

After storming and searching his house west of Tulkaram, Israeli Occupation forces rearrested the ex-detainee Ezzedin Abu Dayya. 

Israeli Occupation forces also detained seven civilians from Jenin and other Palestinians from Qalqilya along with a youth activist from Ramallah. 

In a raid across Tulkarm, Israeli Occupation forces detained two civilians and another one from Saida town north of the city.

Israeli Occupation forces arrested a civilian from al-Jadira town near Jerusalem and another one from al-Owja village near Jericho.

Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces arrested five Palestinians, including the ex-detainee Kareem Abu Sal, in a raid across Hebron.

In a raid on his house in Tamra town in the 1948 occupied territories, Israeli Occupation forces detained Islam Khalaf after assaulting his family.
