The deputy head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, Mousa Abu Marzouk concluded a visit to Lebanon which lasted for four days.
Hamas delegation to Lebanon also included Osama Hamdan and Ali Barakah.
The members of Hamas delegation met with high-profile Lebanese officials, namely the Lebanese President, Michael Owen, Saad Al-Harieri, and Nabieh Beri.
The visit also included holding meetings with representatives of other Palestinian factions that are based in Lebanon.
The delegation explained Hamas stance regarding the Palestinian reconciliation, and stressed Hamas supportive attitude toward the unity of the Lebanese land. In addition, it underscored the need for keeping the Palestinian unity within the Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon so that the national peace can be maintained and extremism can be outcast.
Hamas delegation discussed many of the Palestinian-related subjects inside Lebanon to restore order and contain any internal disagreements. Hamas delegation also noted that the Palestinian refugee camps should remain united in order to achieve the peaceful coexistence.
