Dozens of Palestinian citizens demonstrated in Gaza yesterday to mark the approaching memory of Palestinian Nakba, to protest against the ongoing unjust siege imposed on Gaza, and also to back the Palestinian prisoners who entered their 27th day of their hunger strike.
Also, Hamas speakers said that regardless of Abbas’s punitive measures against Gaza and its people, Gaza will remain firm in the face of challenges, and the Palestinian people will never relinquish their national rights.
Hamas noted that what the Israeli Occupation has failed to achieve through aggressions and blockadewill not be accomplished by these draconian measure.
Pertaining to the prisoners' hunger strike, the protestors noted that the Palestinian prisoners can never be left alone in their battle to extort their rights. Hamas has taken a pledge on itself before the people to clear the Israeli prisons of the Palestinian prisoners.
At the end of the demonstrations, Hamas congratulated the Palestinian people on the arrest of the killer of top Hamas commander, Mazen Foqha.
