Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh visits families of Palestinian martyrs

07 October, 18

Top Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh visited on Sunday afternoon the bereaved families of Palestinian protesters who were killed by Israeli occupation snipers during the peaceful protests of Great March of Return.

Israeli occupation snipers killed on Friday three Palestinian protesters, including the 12-year-old Fares al-Sirsawi, who was shot in the chest.

According to the Palestinian ministry of health, the Israeli occupation snipers have killed 195 Palestinian protesters and wounded more than 21,500 others since the start of the protests of the Great March of Return six months ago.

The Palestinians are taking part in the protests to reinforce their right to return to their homes occupied by Zionist gangs in 1948, who created the illegal occupation state, and are calling for ending the strict 12-year-old Israeli siege imposed on Gaza.
