The Head of Hamas Political Bearua Ismail Haniyeh has phoned the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to commiserate him over the earthquakes taken place in Iran recently.
During the lengthy phone call, Haniyeh briefed the Iranian Foreign Minister on the latest developments of the Palestinian cause.
The Hamas chief highlighted the gross US interference in the Palestinian affairs and the atrocious crimes committed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza and the West bank, especially in the holy city of Jerusalem.
Haniyeh stressed that it is important to consolidate efforts to tackle Israeli strategic threats.
He also hailed Iran for supporting the Palestinian resistance.
The Hamas top official also highlighted that Egypt, Qatar, and the United Nations have exerted considerable efforts to broker a ceasefire understandings with the Israeli occupation and alleviate the 12-year Israeli siege on Gaza.
