The Israeli attempt to impose a fait accompli at al-Aqsa Mosque will be very costly, Hamas said Tuesday evening.
In a press release making the 29th anniversary of al-Aqsa massacre, Hamas pointed out that Israeli leaders along with Israeli settlers were “playing with fire”, noting that they would pay a price for their “provocations” at al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Palestinian resistance movement highlighted that 21 Palestinians were killed in al-Aqsa massacre, adding that al-Aqsa Mosque is a “red line” for the Palestinian people that “no one in the whole world can cross at any cost.”
“October 8, 1990 was a memorable day on which the Palestinian people debunked the lie of alleged temple,” Hamas continued.
Hamas hailed Jerusalem’s Palestinian residents for persevering the Arab and Islamic identity of the holy city and defending al-Aqsa Mosque.
