The demolition of homes of Palestinian detainees in the West Bank city of Hebron is a terrorist, racist behaviour and a continuous aggression, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem said Thursday.

In a press release, Qasem stressed that the home demolition policy followed by the Israeli occupation “was a fuel for the revolution of the Palestinian people.”

The Israeli occupation is deluded into believing that such terrorist behaviour can discourage the Palestinian people from continuing their struggle against the occupation, Qasem added.

Qasem explained that the popular support of Palestinian detainees and their families had prevented the Israeli occupation from achieving the goals of its home demolition policy.

Israeli army bulldozers demolished on Thursday dawn houses of Palestinians detainees in Israeli prisons in Beit Kahel town, northwest of occupied West Bank of Hebron.
