Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem has deplored the international community’s failure to punish or hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its crimes against the Palestinian people.

In a press release, Qasem explained that not punishing the Israeli occupation for its atrocities had prompted it to commit more crimes against Palestinians.

Citing the second anniversary of the fatal shooting of Palestinian volunteer paramedic Razan al-Najjar by Israeli occupation forces while providing aid for injured protesters at the Great Return March demonstrations in Gaza, Qasem pointed out that al-Najjar embodied a great sense of belonging to her just cause and humanitarian work.
