Head of Hamas Politburo Abroad Maher Salah said that the movement adheres to the Palestinian unity and rejects normalisation with the Israeli occupation.

In a press release on the 33rd anniversary of Hamas inception, the senior Hamas official confirmed the movement’s unwavering position towards the Palestinian unity and resistance against the Israeli occupation with all means possible.

He also confirmed the necessity to restructure the Palestinian home, rebuild the Palestinian political institutions, and enhance decision-making mechanisms that ensure participation of all Palestinian factions.

Commenting on some Arab countries’ normalisation agreement with the Israeli occupation, Salah reiterated Hamas’ absolute rejection to all forms of normalisation with the Israeli occupation.

Salah also urged the Palestinian people to resist the Israeli plans to juadize Jerusalem and al-Aqsa Mosque.

Regarding the 14-year siege imposed on Gaza by the Israeli occupation, the Hamas official stressed that the movement spares no effort to break it, calling on all international and national bodies to work on ending the crippling blockade.

The Hamas official highlighted that Hamas incepted its activity with the start of the First Intifada in 1987 and since then the movement has never compromised the Palestinian constants, identity, and land.
