Hamas sends letter of condolences to Sisi following Sohag train collision

Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh has extended his condolences to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on the death of train crash’s victims in central Egypt.

In a letter of condolences, the top Hamas official said that the movement has received the bad news about the train collision with deep sorrow and pain.

Haniyeh prayed to Allah that He shower the victims' souls with mercy. He also wished the wounded a speedy recovery.

The Hamas official added: “We express our full solidarity with the Arab Republic of Egypt and its brotherly people and with the families of the wounded and decedents.”
