Press Release

Hamas movement denies the information published by media outlets about investments confiscated by security forces in Sudan. Hamas confirms that the assets mentioned in the news reports are owned by Palestinian businessmen who have no connection with the movement.

The movement also urges Chairman of Sudan's Sovereign Council Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan and Prime Minister Dr. Abdalla Hamdok to intervene and stop assaults against Palestinians in Sudan, including confiscating their property, investment, companies, assets, or money that they owned by lawful methods.

The Hamas movement confirms that the Palestinian people have rock-solid relations with the Sudanese people. The honorable positions of Sudan bear witness to the enormous support for the Palestinian people at all levels.

Finally, we hope that the Palestinian people will be kept away from any political developments inside Sudan, given that the Palestinian cause is the central issue for the Palestinian people.
