The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas applauds the Iraqi parliament’s adoption of the law criminalizing normalization with the Zionist entity in its first reading, which expresses the authenticity of the Iraqi people and their usual historical positions in support of the Palestinian people and the justice of their national cause.

We welcome all positions that reject the normalization of relations with the common enemy of our nation; which threatens its security, stability, and capabilities, and we call on all parliaments in our Arab and Islamic world to follow this honorable move and pass similar laws to prohibit all forms of normalization with the usurping Zionist entity.
