Hamas condemns Washington's intention to remove extremist Jewish group from terror blacklist

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has denounced the United States' move to lift the radical Jewish "Kahane Chai" movement from its list of foreign terrorist organisations.

Hamas spokesperson Abdel Latif al-Qanoa stressed that this decision reaffirms Washington's bias towards the Israeli occupation and its extremist groups, which are founded on the basis of perpetuating racism and terrorism.

In a press statement, al-Qanoa called on the international community to criminalise the "Kahane Chai" terror group, alongside all extremist Jewish movements, and prosecute their leaders for the crimes they have committed against the Palestinian people.

Al-Qanoa added that this move "is an appalling perpetuation of double standards when it comes to the Palestinian people and their just cause."
