The Israeli occupation and its arrogant leadership's insistence to allow Israeli settlers to hold a "flag march" in occupied Jerusalem on 29 May, which is scheduled to pass through the Bab al-Amud area and the Old City's Muslim Quarter, en route to the Buraq Wall, will add fuel to fire.
The Israeli occupation and its radical government shall bear the consequences of this move.
Jerusalem, with the Al-Aqsa Mosque at the heart of which, is an exclusive Muslim territory; the Palestinian people will confront the Israeli occupation's schemes to declare its alleged claim to sovereignty over the holy city and any desperate attempts and malicious calls by extremist Israeli settler groups to demolish the Dome of the Rock.
We call on the Palestinian people to visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque and intensify their presence at the compound, particularly on the 'flag march' day, to prevent Israeli settlers from desecrating the Muslim sacred site.
