Head of Hamas political bureau Ismail Haniyeh said that the movement appreciates Algeria’s initiative to heal the Palestinian split.

The Hamas chief said that the movement is satisfied with the meetings with officials from Fatah to end the Palestinian split, confirming that they come as part of the country’s responsibility towards the Palestinian cause and regional role.

Haniyeh emphasized that Algeria spares no effort to enhance the intra-Palestinian reconciliation.
