Member of Hamas Political Bureau Ezzt al-Risheq has offered his sincere condolences to the victims of a powerful earthquake that struck the Moroccan city of Marrakech. 

In a press statement Saturday, al-Risheq voiced his movement's full solidarity with the Moroccan people and the victims' families. 

A 6.8-magnitude earthquake hit Morocco’s High Atlas mountains on Friday night, killing more than hundreds of people, injuring hundreds more, and damaging buildings in the historic city of Marrakech.
