Hamas condemns planned incursions into Al-Aqsa during

Hamas movement said that the Israeli occupation’s threats against the Al-Aqsa mosque and planned violations during the ‘Jewish holidays’ will not pass and the Palestinian people will defend the Palestinian and Muslim identity of the holy compound.

In a press release, Hamas confirmed that the Israeli settlers use the religious holidays to break into the Al-Aqsa mosque.

“The planned violations are against the international law and conventions and are part of the Israeli occupation’s religious war against the Palestinian people,” the movement added.

Hamas called on the Palestinian people in Jerusalem and the West Bank to march at the Al-Aqsa mosque and defend it against Zionist attacks.

“We urge the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to fulfil their historical and religious responsibility towards Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa by supporting the Palestinian people in their struggle against the Israeli occupation,” Hamas added.
