The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has confirmed the Israeli occupation's policies against occupied Jerusalem threaten to escalate the religious war against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the holy city. 

Hamas spokesperson for occupied Jerusalem Mohammed Hamada stressed that the Palestinian people will not stand idly by as the Israeli occupation continues its aggression against the Al-Aqsa Mosque. 

In a press statement on Thursday, Hamada also warned against the planned mass incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque by extremist Israeli colonial settler groups in the coming days.
