Hamas congratulates Palestinian hunger striker on his release from Israeli prison

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has offered congratulations to Palestinian detainee Khalil Awawdeh on his release from Israeli occupation jails after 172 days of hunger strike to protest his so-called "administrative detention" without charge. 

Member of Hamas Political Bureau Ezzat al-Risheq saluted the Palestinian citizens of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank for their warm reception of the freed hunger striker. 

In a press statement Saturday, al-Risheq hailed Palestinian detainees for standing steadfast and resilient in the face of the Israeli occupation's arbitrary measures and policies imposed against them.
